cp200 programming cable

Post by n3trk »

my rib box is a polaris pa-1. Just received from motorola the rib to cp200/cp150. (Also the new programing software) It will not read the radio. I know everthing is good except the new cable. I can program SP50s using the PA-1 and a motorola cable. Do I need to change any thing for the cp200/cp150 cable? Thank you

James, check your serial port settings in the CPS. Windows likes to play tricks.

Called Motorola a 2nd time for help. Got the correct answer. The plug was not making proper contact in the radio. You need to push the plug into the radio until you hear it click. Did that and it worked fine
