I have just aquired a VHF table top base like a deskon type unit. It looks like something similar to a Mocom 70 mobile unit inside. The base has a tone remote control board installed. The numbers that I have are as follows:
tone control board TCN1220A5183A
unknown board HLN4132A
power supply HPN1001A
radio chassis HUD1062CPR
HLD1012APR
PL tone board HLN4020B1PR
radio system board HLD4082B3PR
TX PA board HLD4022A4PR
Looking for circuit diagrams
Problems right now are that I can't seem to adjust the TX deviation.
It doesn't seem to have any limiter point. Just keeps going
higher the more audio level that gets placed on the telco
terminals on the back of the radio. Can key the TX from pin
5 on the rear lower TB.
The TX has no PL tone encode.
Recever seems to be in carrier squelch all the time. RX works
and can adjust the squelch setting with pot on the inside
front panel.

That is the Mitrek Console station.
The model you posted is a 60 watt VHF carrier squelch remote control version. You mention a PL board, was probally added. Check pin 16 on the large connector of the radio chassis for a ground, that puts the RX into PL mode. That signal comes from a flip flop on the remote control board that sets monitor and clears back to PL when keyed from the tone remote.
The DEV is set with the small pot in the TX channel element.
Is there a PL reed plugged into the PL board, or a flat chip, they determin the PL code. Some information is at http://www.repeater-builders.com.
There is a couple of articals by Mike Morris on the PL chips used in this vintage Mitrek, and others.
The radio and PL board are the same as the Mitrek mobiles.

Thanks Will. Just after I posted the questions, I found out it
was a Mitrek.
I have managed to get the TX deviation under control. Have
the TX PL encode working. The PL board does have the old
style plug in tone reed. Had to leave the radio for a while as
other work pulled me away. I will get back on it in the morning.
I have found some information on the radio from other web sites.
Nothing yet on the cabinet wiring or the remote control tone board.
What I would really like to obtain is the drawing of the remote
tone control board in the desktop. All my manuals are in storage
in another state. Not even sure if I have one on the Mitrek
style desktop station. Hopefully someone may have a PDF of
the drawing.
