Ht750, Bluetooth kit worth it?

Post by KuhnElectronics »

I use a VHF HT750 with front keypad for the fire service, and I have had a speaker mic or two, but lately I have been seeing the all new bluetooth wireless kits being offered for these pro series of radios...

Has anyone used on on a similiar radio, and what are the results?

I seen Bluetooth demo'd years and years ago by a moto rep agent, and it was high technology for its age, but of course everything works like a charm in a demo, but a it is definetly a different story when you get out on a call or something?

I am stuck between buying a VHF public safety mic, or a bluetooth kit... which would you get...???

Also, is your bluetooth speaker mic compatible with other adapters?

Like could I use the same mic for my portable and my CDM1550 in the truck with a different adapter?

What kind of prices do you see these things going for lately?
