01 Chevy Tahoe headliner fun

Post by rdkl »

Anyone have any tips for me before we dig into this project?

I am getting ready to drill holes for antennas and I have the rear ac vents in the headliner and a sunroof I have to work around.

If anyone has any experience as to the best way to drop the headliner, etc.

Thanks!

What radios do you own?: APX / Astro 25 / Harris

Headliner will come down as long as you remove all the supporting hardware, push pins, grab handles, trim pieces and dome lights. Be careful if you have rear heat controls, but everything will just pop out.

Thanks! Thats what I was looking for. I do unfortunately have rear heating controls :(

The annoying part is working around the sunroof. If I did not have it, thats where I'd be putting antennas and lights. Oh well!

Thanks for the tip. It was that easy :)

4 holes later, I am much happier!
