I have several of the MTX Jedi series radios MTX9000, 8000 and 2000.
They are B3 16ch, no display.
All channels are set up for CONVENTIONAL.
I cannot see a setting for PRIORITY scan.
Was there a higher, non-display model that has it? (that I could get a codeplug from, and jamb in with lab)
MTX9000 B3, Priority Scan??

Trunked scaning priority is a SmartNet II feature. I believe it requires a C model Spectra (or later) or an MTS portable, and it also requires enabling within the system controller, limitation to hex "even" TG IDs, and broadcasting of the currently active TGs list on the voice channel subband. I have never seen an MTX8000 that will do priority scan.

- What radios do you own?: XTS2500, XTS5000, and MTS2000
is the scan type set to CONVENTIONAL as opposed to TALK GROUP?
Every MTX radio I ever owned supported priority scan in CONVENTIONAL mode but not in trunked scan mode (ie, talkgroup scan, which would allow you to scan both trunked and conventional modes simultaneously but without any priority capability)
