P1225 Programming Cable

Post by whatnext »

Can anyone guide me to a pin out for the radius P1225.. The one on this board does not match my radio as I only have (3) battery contacts and it shows it having (4).. Don't want to fry the radio or RIB by misconnecting the RIB and radio.

Do you have a factory oem /\/\, battery? If not some aftermarket batterys do not have all the contacts.

Are you talking about contacts on the outside back of the battery or contacts on the radio chassis?

The diagram on Batlabs is showing the back of the battery, not the back of the radio. The back of the radio does indeed only have three contacts. Looking at the back of the radio, going from left to right, they are, positive (battery in), Bus + (data), ground.

The back of the battery should have four contacts. They are, looking at the battery from the back, going from left to right, charge reference, ground, Bus + (data), charge positive.
