GP1200 , Config Max232

Hi..

Is it possible to config (Dealer Win3.11) a GP1200 with the SimpleRib interface(Max232) ?

Is the Busy signal a must just to configure it ? or is just the BUS+ signal enough (and Gnd ) ?

No, the Motorola RIB needs the BUSY signal as it loops back to the computer. The radio needs the three signals to program.

Ok so the Busy signal is required.. And it seems to be in the SimpleRib setup.. can the SimpleRib (Max232 , with Busy signal ) be used to program (Configure) the GP1200 ?
