MT2000 Hot PL levels

My VHF Mt2000 PL levels are too hot. I have tried to adjust the level using the soft pots. This helps but the PL level still gets hotter as I go lower in frequency. It is worse in the 2 meter ham band. Is there a level adjust inside the radio?

Dave, your radio needs serious alignement and compensation to get the modulation correct so the PL is at the correct levels. It is in the RSS, but you need a service monitor and scope for the low frequency compensation, as well as the rest of the alignments.
