i have a customer with a spectra that has error code 01-90 pop up and Flash a Funny looking a7 across the Screen now and then. he power cycles the radio a few times and it is fine

Hi,

Is the radio being operated as a base or mobile. The power may be
right on the edge or possibly a poorly seated command / MLM board.

Check to ensure the operating voltage is good.

Re-seat the command and mlm boards.

If its a mobile the main Power pins going into the drawer can widen to the point the feed pin doesn't make contact anymore. Had my A4 T83 spectra do the 01-90 when it keyed up and then cycled power.

If the lights are out when you leave the station and then come on the second you key up, you know you have enough power.

yeah i was gonna check those and the cables as well as maybe resolder the pins on the control hea d
