WoW, check this out
I didn't know that you could attach a Sys9000 Astro control head to a XTS AVA. Does the control head operate all functions like zone. volume, mode, etc.

Well I asked the question and here is his response:
"Have not tested with XTS radio. If units do not work, refund will be given."

What I would like to see is if the control head power wires are mated up or loose with the XTVA power wires. I am sure this is all a pipe dream but it would be cool if it atually worked.
The seller probably got it in a lot of equipment and thought it went together since it all attached so nicely.

XTVA and a 1078D?
Well, from the pictures he has the correct connectors in the correct places.
Those connectors did NOT go with a Astro Spectra.
I think a study of each manual, XTVA and a 1078D would tell all.
Are the data pins going to the right place..........the mic audio going in at the right pins.....................and the biggie is the data format the same.
I know for a fact that a W-3 head has a different mask-burned micro from
the HHCH for a XTVA. Other than that they are the same. I would love to ask the buyer how it works.
Time will tell

Oh, so these do have a HHCH then? I don't know nothing about them, too new, lol.
I saw a Saber SVA on ebay once where they had a A9 head with Spectra remote cable connected to the db-25 for the speaker. I laughed for a while about that one!

XTVA HHCH
Yes, the HHCH worked on the XTS MVA and the Saber Astro MVA.
It looked just like a W-3 head. I think it's cost was somthing like $ 600 or $ 700. On the XTS MVA it would work with any XTS series. The W-3 did NOT work on the MVA. Both HHCH had different part numbers.
I had one for a while, but fliped it. I never installed it.
