How Astro XTS3000R with Option H35 to P25?

How Astro XTS3000R with Option H35 to P25?

Need answers whyASTRO XTS3000R doesnt do Digital. Can somebody please give me some help with this. Momentary Option only H35 and Q241 Astro Ready (Conventionel only). Is the Upgrade Feature in the Software the :( Only way to go/modifiy the radio to Astro25

The radio would need a flashcode uplift to get Astro digital, it probably also needs a firmware refresh as well.

Your local motorola dealer should be able to do this for you, but its not exactly cheap

Heh, what is your host and dsp revision.

Turn the radio on, after it does the self check, press the ".." button 5 times to enter the service mode, write down what it says.

As Tim is alluding to, your firmware in all likelyhood doesn't support IMBE. If the HOST firmware starts with an "A" (common) or "M" (not so common), then it's analog only. If it begins with an "I"(not so common) or an "N" (more common), then it's IMBE capable.

Todd,

That is kind of what I am alluding to. First, the DSP starts with A, I, M or N. HOST should only start with R.

Secondly, the HOST needs to be 04.00.00 or higher, DSP needs to be I or N and higher then 06.00.00.

Expect to spend around $500-$700 for this upgrade.
