What radios do you own?: XTS2500, XTS5000, and MTS2000

original Privacy Plus type I trunking radios. If you have a type I 800MHz Privacy Plus trunking system, then you can use them. If not, you have nice doorstops. Nextel shut down most of the SMR PP's years ago to make way for their noisemaking iDEN crap. Very few type I PP's still exist, and most of them are private systems. (and most likely will disappear when rebanding hits)

IIRC the models you have were capable of full duplex telephone interconnect (and had internal duplexers to boot).
