DVP XL keyloader: storing in a code?

Hello everyone
Ok, when I get the ready prompt and I hit load, it'll give me 0.0 (I assume here is where I start entering my key?) Ok, then after I enter the last digit of the key (prompt 0.5) it'll ask me for an ID. What do I punch in there? Also, what does group3 on the display mean? Thanks!

Would still having PL tones on (no open frequencies in the program) cause a fail?
