Jedi public safety mic part # needed

Post by craig »

Can anyone tell me a part number for, or provide me with a source for, those little rubber "boot-like" covers that go over the volume hi/low toggle on top of the public safety mics? I would like to get a few in new condition, I'll even order from /\/\ if they will sell them to me. I swear I saw this topic before, but I couldn't find it through numerous searches. Can anyone help?

What radios do you own?: XTS2500, XTS5000, and MTS2000

dont recall the part number cause it's been a few years since I ordered one but that "boot" actually has a retaining nut molded into it, and I did NOT forget the price...like 12.00 and some change...for a friggin nut and rubber piece.

But then that's Motoquality for ya!

Boot

Yes, I knew that it had a nut in it from swapping around the few good ones that I have. In the waris psm's you have to temporarily remove it from the mic, to replace the cord set. That probably goes for the jedi line too. (same part for both mics by the way)
