What radios do you own?: Progreso soup can with CRT

Spectra code

It's an 800 mHz radio. The complete explanation of the coding can be
found at http://www.Batlabs.com under Model Specific Information then clicking
on Spectra.

As to range of a radio that's a hard question to answer because it all depends
on mobile vs. fixed, antenna type, antenna height, terrain, power, etc.

All 800 Spectras cover all of what was (but things have changed a bit under rebanding) the primary 800 band (851-865 out and 806-820) in. Some will accept so-called "821" channels (866-869 out and 821-824 in) as simplex or control channels, and all will follow an OSW channel grant into the 821 band. They will not, however, do the rebanding channel splits in the reconstituted 851-853.4875 slice.

MaxTracs, which are quite similar, normally transmit 806-825 MHz and receive 851-870 MHz. Talk-around transmit is also 851-870 MHz. I'm fairly sure Spectras have exactly the same band limits, as do GTXs and probably all other 800 MHz radios.

Could well be; I just done remember. The B model portables, though, do not do 821 channels.
