Servce monitor help needed!

Post by RoDnSuE »

Hi,
I know this is off the topic of "Motorola equipment" but I'm at my wits end in finding this information.

I have a slightly sick Cushman CE50-TG-1 service monitor and was wondering if anyone has taken any voltage readings from a working unit they would be willing to share.
I need to check the voltages at test points 3 & 4 on the 29000 board with the frequency set between 9.9999mhz and 100khz. That should give me the normal range for both the A & B VCO's control voltage's. (referenced to chassis ground) Any other voltages would be helpful so I can note them for future reference.
Sure would have been nice if Cushman would have provided some basic voltage readings on the schematics.

I have tried several other forums as well as usenet newsgroups but I can't seem to get an answer. If anyone knows of a forum that talks about RF test equipment such as this I would appreciate that as well.

ANY help would be appreciated,
Thanks,
RoD

My two bits worth:
I have a copy of the official Cushman CE50A training class manual.
You are welcome to it.
I cant find any reference to your test points.
Never worked on one of these.
