CM300 Paging help

Post by ICEMANTIM »

Hello I need help will a CM400. We have set up paging with this radio. We resently changed paging freq. This is how i had it set up before. P4 accessed the Quick call 2 setup. Then you could gpo up or down to the correct name and set off the tones.. When the tone where done you would press P1 to revert back to our paging channel to talk. This worked fine even though i don't think it was the correct way.
Now the channle we had for P1 is the main talk channel and we do not page on it anymore. I change the quick call 2 channel to the correct transmitt which is channel 24 on our radio. The problem we are haveing is how to get to channel 24 after the tones are done. The radio tones out on the coreect channel but when we press P1 as you would think it goes to Channel 1 adn we talk on the main channel. This is how i think it should work. Pick up the mic, stop scanning, channel up or down to channel 24. Press P4 to access the qiuck call2 programs set off the tones. When the tones stop we should be on channel 24 and able to talk. Any ideas or help.
Thanks in advance.

What radios do you own?: HT1550's, X9000's, CDM1550's

move 24 to ch2 or the last channel so when you press p1 to go to the home channel all you have to do is go up or down 1 channel.
