Post by Firedog659 »

I am looking for info on the M IV and V, trying to decide what one to buy.

If I had it my way I would get a II but I hear parts are hard to come by.

Anyone Help

What radios do you own?: KW tk2170, tk730, etc.

I prefer the 5 over the 2. Its a little bigger and heavier, but more SV times, and capabilities. and the sensitivity is better. Just don't get a amp charger.

They have worked out most of the bugs now w/ the recent upgrades. The amp chargers short circuted them. If you get a pager w/ the latest firmware and the standard charger, your good to go.

They don't make the IV anymore anyway. The V is the only on in production.

eBay at it's finest:
Me: "What exactly is a 900Mhz UHF CB?"
Them: "A very nice CB at 900Mhz speed!"
