Need Model Number Decoded

Post by railtrailbiker »

Can anyone determine whether this repeater would have a continuous duty PA installed?

C73KSB3106AT

Thanks.

That looks like the model number for a very old 100-watt VHF MSF 5000. If that's the case, all MSF repeaters are continuous-duty rated, but that particular one won't be software-programmable.

C73KSB3106AT ?

Not MSF5000 but MSR2000

Earlier version,100 Watt continuous duty, T1-R1, PL encode/decode.

Has channel elements [crystal control] and PL reeds.

Thanks. The MSR2000 is no longer supported by Motorola, correct? How readily available are parts for this unit?
