CDM Series..Audio Processing Filter?

Post by Rayjk110 »

I was browsing around my codeplug in CPS for my CDM1250, and under Radio Configuration > Basic, there is an Audio Processing Filter check-box (currently un-checked) I do not have the help files installed on this machine, but, does anyone know what sort of improvement it makes in audio, if any? Or what it even does, for that matter.

Thanks,
Ray.

It alters the EQ curve for the receive audio at higher volume settings. The concept is that it makes the audio more intelligible at louder volumes. The reality is that it makes the audio sound thin and painful.
