Hi all--I am a little stumped here. I have a MTS 2000 lll rev 6.13 that I would to have direct access to channels through the key pad. Can it be done? and how? And how can I switch between scan lists? I have 2 zones with 2 diff. personalites each with ther own scan list. Thank you for the advice. Will

You can press the left or right menu arrow to display the menu, then select ZONE or CHANNEL (or SYS/SUB depending on how it's programmed) and then direct enter the zone or channel that you want. It will over-ride the switch setting. Changing the switches will go back to normal.
If you're talking about direct frequency entry then that is not possible.
I don't understand your scan list question. Each personality has it's own scan list. If you want to be on a mode from pers-2 and use scan list #1 temporarily, then you'd need to program two more personalities with the modified scan lists. Now, if you're dealing with trunking, if you have two different systems then it could be done BUT it will not work like you'd expect and you will miss radio traffic.
