Help - Minitor V Programming set up....

Post by RADIO43 »

Guys,

I recentley ordered just the programming cradle for the Minitor V. I figured I would be able to use the same rib that I use for the Minitot IV but I am starting to think I am missing something. I noticed there is a power port on the back of the cradle for the Minitor V. Do I need a power supply for this? Do I need a diffrent programmig setup completely? Thanks in advance for the help....

The power jack is on the rear of your MV cradle to allow reflashing the MV firmware. You don't need to worry about it for everyday programming. The MV requires the same equipment(UPI, serial PC cable, coilcord, and wallwart) used to program the Minitor III and IV(except for the cradle, of course).
