HT1000 UHF [H01S] No Audio

Post by Rayjk110 »

Hello all. I have here beside me a HT1000 [H01SDC9AA3BN] that appears to have no adio....kind of. If I key up with another HT1000 next to it on the same frequency, I can TX and RX that radio just fine back and forth. But, say I switch to the local PD frequency, I get the flashing red light on top when there is traffic, but I do not hear any audio. Same thing if I key a local repeater, I can see that I am able to bring it up, via the flashing light, but, no audio. The local PD frequency is RX only, so if I try to key, I would obviously get the 'boooop' tone, which I do. Just no audio from the frequency. Yes, the correct PL is programmed on all frequencies. Even if I try to break squelch with the appropriate side button, I get nothing.

If it makes a difference, MDC/STAR/ATIS Decode is Enabled via RSS, to shorten or otherwise eliminate the burst. The radio is currently programmed to Ge-Star signalling on Post for TX on some channels.

Thanks,
Ray.
