PLEASE HELP MEEEEE!!! another ht1250 dilemma

hi again, either im terrible at searches or the topic went out with the dinosaurs..

anyway..


i finally got aother ht1250 ls, not the ls+..

the model # is AAH25RDH9DU6AN


NO MDC!!!!!


IS THERE ANYTHING THAT CAN BE DONE???

I WILL BE USING IT AS A PORTABLE ALARM CLOCK!!!!!


its all i can do now, IM BROKE, IF I WAS ROBBED THEY WOULD HAVE TO LEND ME THE MONEY!!!!


im on the verge of giving up on the whole 1250 thing.....

please let there be a light at the end of this expensive tunnel!!

What radios do you own?: HT1550's, X9000's, CDM1550's

absolutely nothing you can do, that radio won't identify like you want because it's a trunking radio. the radio you want that will identify with mdc is an AAH25RDH9AA6AN or AA5AN. that is as long as you don't need the trunking part, i'm assuming you are using it for conventional modes only. and I hate to bring more bad news but that radio can only do 16 conventional channels, not 128.

i figured as much...


so whats the difference between this and a ls+ ??

also, in the option board section theres a few to choose from, is there a chance that theres an option board inside??


how do i tell if there is???

i don't think the regular ls is made anymore they are all ls+. I doubt if it has any options in it but you have to open it up to check for that.

Basically, the plain LS is the older equivalent of the 16-channel LS+ units.
