MCS2000: PA/Siren?

Post by kc7gr »

Fellow Batlabbers,

Just curious... On the MCS2000 conventionals, do they use the HLN1185-series noisebox to do PA and siren functions?

If so, would I be correct in saying it probably needs to be a late-issue unit, such as the HLN1185D?

Thanks much.

No. They use a special interface cable to operate with Federal Signal's Unitrol Omega series sirens.

I have an interface, and an Omega series siren to go with it if you like.
