I have heard between $400-$600 per subscriber unit for the Flash upgrade.
I am curious to know how many of this radio been sold since it came out.Especially on the basis of it being P25 upgradeable.
I had a dream that M released a PR1550 with display,QCII and scan mode indicator light.I woke up in a sweat with my HT1250 on my pillow next to me.

I think you need to get you a woman, dude.
Personally, I like it. The more Motorola jacks their customers around, the more market space they lose. It just means more Kenwoods I get to deal with, and less Ms. Mmm, TK-2180.
well its a shame. moto used to make hard core durable stuff like SPECTRA, MAXTRAC and SABER. now we have to deal with the NOT so durable stuff like the PRO sires HT's and CDM. they are starting to sell off portions of the company, moving the depot to mexico, charging an arm and a leg not just for the radio and for simple upgrades but for everything they sell and laying off thousands of people. the list go's on and on. lets see what else moto can do to piss off there customers.
man, if kenwood could sell all there radios with MDC1200 as a standard option with out having to get an after market upgrade i would try to push my department to start to swith to Kenwood.
