MCX1000 Revert to Channel 1

Under normal circumstances, the MCX1000 will retain the last used channel once the vehicle ignition is off.

I have x2 units removed from seperate vehicles, where both users reported the mobile reverts to channel 1 upon restarts. Unable to demonstrate the fault in shop, I swapped both units out with working spares. This was several months ago and have contacted both users just recently, fault has not returned.

The problem must exist within the mobile itself. Is this a common fault with the MCX1000, is there a fix to correct this problem?

If you leave power to the radio (the low power lead) it stays on the last channel. Removing all power, i.e. having both leads tied to ignition, the radio defaults to channel 1 on power up....that's the way they are supposed to work.
