mts2000 problems

Post by camcam990 »

hello, have you tried to read the radio with rss??? If you can read the radio, try to reload the code plug donot make any changes, just write the code plug back to the radio. The other option is to try and load a good code plug. I had this happen to one of mine mts2000's and all I did was reload a good code plug and it started to work, maybe I got lucky??? donot know. If this does not fix it then the radio most likely is bad and it will need to be sent in for repair. This error is recoverable from, but good code plug is needed. IF you have the service manual it will describe this error. Good luck on trying to fix this. The only other item is to go back to the person that sold you this radio and ask for your money back, This is most likely not going to happen with ebay. You really have to be careful on ebay when buying radios there are some ripoffs out there
