Zetron DAPT-1000

Post by kcØkbh »

Hi,
I got a Zetron DAPT-1000 paging terminal off eBay, that appeared to be wired up for some Motorola mobile. I plan to use it in a POCSAG weather paging system, and it does have the PROMs for POCSAG, and two tone. I have made it send pages, and have listened to them, just off of the digital out terminals. But, I'm curious, how do I program this thing? I read somewhere that it can be programmed remotely, with DTMF. I'd like to program in the cap code of one of my old Bravos, and then I will have 10 or so 450 MHz Bravo's and Lifestyles programmed to the same capcode, and change them over to the 440 MHz ham band, and set up my transmitter there.

Thanks.
