I have a Japanese model of the Motorola Visar Privacy Plus an currently is unable to program it.
The radio model inscription on the back of the radio is: JJH05VCD4CG4AN.
Does anyone know this radio and the software that is required to program this radio unit?
I shall take a digital snapshot of the radio back plate later and shall post it in the newsgroup...

That radio was used on the Japan Specialized Mobile Radio (JSMR) network. Bascially, it's Japan's version of the American CoveragePLUS system that predated Nextel. To the best of my knowledge, no English-language website exists that outlines the specifics of the JSMR protocol, and your radio (and most likely its RSS) are 100% unique to Japan.

Motorola Japan has a lot of weird, alien radios, including their very own version of the XTS3000.
