CP 150 disassembly

Post by kens »

I'm trying to open the radio to replace the internal speaker, does this consist of removing antenna, vol and ch knob then prying on the bottom of the chassis? Vol knob came off easily but the ch knob does not seem to. Any assistance would be appreciated.
Thanks

unscrew antenna, pull off the vol and ch knob (the must come off) remove battery and use a knife or screwdriver at the base of the rado where the metal meets plastic. it should be pooped out and slid down to remove the actual radio from the housing.
