weatherproof mic

Does M make a good waterproof mic that will work with a PM400? Im trying to come up with something for our rescue boat instead of having to reach under the seat (also a waterproof compartment).

I dont mind doing some modification

we wrapped our johnson mic in a plastic ziploc and tied it. I am not sure if it works as the boat hasn't been on the water in 2 years. (since we placed the radio in)
