XTS 3000 SecureNet Encryption Boards

Post by LAPD_Astro »

Hi everybody,

for the first time I opened two of my XTS 3000 radios and pulled out the encryption boards....
There is a sticker on each board which says
1. " Y06201983 062/00 0105956V67"
2. " 032070574 11/16 NTN8257B"

Can anyone tell me what this means? I wonder why there is no NTN..... number on the first board.

Thanks guys

The first one is a DES-OFB / DES-XL UCM, the second one is a DVP-XL encryption module.
