I purchased a spectra and it is supposed to be DVP capable. I cannot set it with the button and I'd like to check inside if the board is installed or not. Where should I check ? Thank you!

With the radio facing you right side up, remove the top cover. There will be a odd T-shaped stainless steel cover towards the back in the middle- this is your MLM. Around your MLM filling the rest of the space will be a L-shaped circuit board that sits level with your MLM cover. If it's there, you're in good shape, if not, you have a secure-capable radio, not a secure-equipped radio.
