MSF5000 low split UHF?

Can a low split MSF5000 be capable for UHF 440 repeater usage?

It might just make it into the 440 MHz range, but you won't get rated sensitivity, the VCOs may not be adjustable to the frequency you want, etc. If both your Rx and Tx freqs are down that low, you may get it to work, but I doubt you'll be happy with the performance.

I had no problems moving a 403-430 station into 440. It worked fine.

I am in the process of doing another, I'll advise on it in due time.
