Motorola 100watt VHF Programming Question

Post by radiouser »

Hello I have a Motorola 100 Watt VHF Model#T73XTA7TA7BK, Control Head #HCN1089A and have a programming question. I want to program this radio in the 146mhz range for amateur radio use. Is there anything special I need to know about entering the frequencies in for the program to accept them. I have not tried it yet, but was just trying to find out ahead of time. I know with the GM300 for example you have to hold the shift key down while entering the frequencies. Any information would be greatly appreciated. Any advice on other programming tricks that this radio will do would be great also.

Thanks in advance,
Steven
