Changing the frequency range of a HT1250

Changing the frequency range of a HT1250

Hi,
I am completely new at this so Im sorry if I am making a fool out of myself.
I have a Motorola HT1250, when I open it up with the CPS software, it says that the frequency range is 136.000 - 174.000, is it possible at all for me to extend it to a greater range?

Nope. You are stuck with the frequency range you see.
