XTS 3000 Problem

When programming an XTS 3000 with an 11th trunking system and a 14th personality the software halts, and does not load into the radio. The software accepts all the info but when ready to load it halts? Any clues? Does the radio have limits in how many trunking systems over the software? The radio has 1 meg.

Well, it depends. The CPS will generally not let create more than 255 conventional personalities, or assign more than 255 conventional or trunked personalities to all of your combined zones. However if there's a hard limit to the number of trunked systems/personalities, I'm not aware of it.

If you're adding 1 system and 1 personality, and it doesn't like it, try removing something else (say a dozen conventional personalities or so) and then try and make the additions that are causing the problem at the moment.

Just out of curiosity why do you have 11 different trunking systems in a single radio? Are you trying to use it as a glorified scanner?

I will be trying to change some of the programming around a bit, since there are no conv. personalities, and yes my scanner went down last week and had an extra XTS 3000, so it is my scanner for a while.
