well. I have a copy of the software on my laptop which i sent out west to get fixed and need to program a cdm1250 this week for a big event on sunday. I only had it on my laptop, I have the license and evetrything through motorola but dont have the disc anymore. I dont have time to wait for another disk or have the money to spend another $300 to get a new disk. I need to put a new codeplug in this radio for this weekend but then need to put the current one back in after sunday. I really don't want to mess with my local dealer as I have been waiting 6 months for some other things from them. Do you have any suggestions? I really don't have time to call motorola this week.

If you have an MOL account and are all set up with the license you ought to be able to download the installation files from the resource center.

your local dealer can't get the cps for you, just log on to your mol account and it will let you download the newest and greatest cps for that radio.

The CPS files are not always at the resource center, you have to call MOL to request the software be available for downlowd (not all software qualifies) and Motorola asks for 48 hours to process that request, but it usually gets done quicker than that.
