RIM down/need settings

Our settings on our RIM were changed. Problem is no one knows what the original settings were. We run a smartnet 2 single site 20 channel 800mhz analog trunking system. The RIMs at the site are unchanged. The ones that were changed are at the off site control room with our sims computer. The system is still working but now we cant make changes to the controller. The rims will say on line then change to training then on line again. When you try to enter a command on the sims it says that the main and the backup are unknown. We went to the site and wrote down all the settings on those rims and matched the ones that were changed. Im thinking that we have to set one as remote and one as local. But not sure what to change. Any help or suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

Found it. They weren't syncing up.
