Setting up a Vote Channel on a GP339

Correct me if I'm wrong here:

To set up a voting channel:

- add all required channels in vote group
- inhibit channel selection on all channels but one

- create scan group with all voting channels
- on scan group select VOTE ENABLED

- on uninhibited channel select scan list set up above
- select auto scan start

Is this correct? And are all these options required?
