Trouble with minitor III's

Post by deputychief301 »

I have three minitor three pagers, here's the problems

pager #1; Once pager is turned on, you hear static, but you can
hear radio traffic.

Pager #2; Once turned on, no static or radio traffic,

Both are A,B channels, older models I've been told
Was there a common problem with these pagers

Pager #3; Once pager is turned on, static, just like #1
Except this one is new model with A.B,C,D, channels

Thanks

could be simply the squelch level is set too low, and you are picking up RF noise. there is available newer software to program the III's & IV's, that allows you to adjust the squelch. Let me know if you need it and I can try to find someone that can get it for you. It's relatively inexpensive and can readily be found on eBay, where I got mine
