In a word....NO!

The main board of the Systems Sbaers are entirely different and can not be swapped.

There are mask programmed options in the Systems models that are locatred on the main board that work only with the Systems Saber's front shield.

Even the memory is entirely different as the Systems Saber memory/display has an EPROM that contains trunking and conventional algorithms that are designed to work only with the proper main board.

Same in reverse, you can't use a standard Saber display/memory board on a Systems Saber.

The LCD interconnects on the Systems models are longer and utilize all the pins whereas the standard Sabers do not and have a shorter LCD interconnect header assy., so you can not do the swap you are asking about.

Not to mention the RSS for both radios are of a completely different arrangement as well.

Standard Sabers are 120 channels max, and the Systems Sabers are capable of 255 channels conventional, with OTAR, different signalling as well as message/status displays, phone memories, phone number/tagging Etc...

The differences between models is far too expansive to allow simple component swaps and be able to function as a single unit.
