Problem programming my mtx838 and mts2000

Problem programming my mtx838 and mts2000

Hi everyone

I'm trying to program my radios and I get these error

REQUEST NOT ACKED/NAKED ERROR

CHECKSUM ERROR

CODEPLUG TOO NEW FOR THIS APPLICATION

Can anyone help me please

I forgot to include the version of the software

its version R.06.00.00

What radios do you own?: HT1550's, X9000's, CDM1550's

you need the newest version of the software, they have been written with a newer version than what you have.

oh and i forgot to add, it's also possible that the mts has been written with cps, if that's the case then you're not going to get any rss to work on it.

You can write to the MTS with RSS even if it's been programmed with CPS. As long as it wasn't programmed with the latest version of MTS CPS. Most of the older MTS CPS revisions are backwards compatible.

alright thank you. Anyway I cant find a newer version of the rss so I cant try it. Ill have to go to a motorola distributor.
