programming compatibility for gp339

Can anyone tell me if there is a compatible american version of the rss that can be programed into my gp339? My local dealer said he does not have the software for this model, due to the fact that it is not from the USA.

you have to hack the registry of the us version and you will be good to go.

do you know what the us version is? So I can let my dealer know. And hope he knows how to "hack the registry".

whatever he uses to do a ht1250 will do a gp339 if you hack the rigistry. i doubt if a dealer will do that tho. that gp339 isn't even supposed to be in this country. i'm not positive on the number but it's possible it won't do mdc or quick call, it might be set up for 5 tone only. that's why we use ht1250's here.
