HT1000 encryption boards

Post by n9upc »

I have recently accuried some HT1000 that we want to add to our fleet of portables. Now we are going to be making the move to voice inversion and I am wondering if the HT1000 encryption board from Motorola (I think they are called the AVS boards???) are compatable with any other encryption boards???

I can not remember what format the boards use so does anyone know???

I can confirm that they are called AVS boards. I had a few which plug right into the 'advantage' accessory port on C and D rev. radios. Never got a chance to use them as you do need HT1000 AVS
software to configure them. GP350 also has AVS available but different board and different S/W.
