GM300 Non-R.I.C.K. Interfacing question

Post by wireless.friendly »

Hi all!

I have a questions about this article: http://www.batlabs.com/rptrcabl.html
You might want to cut the jumper for the local spkrs - PIN 15/PIN 16
1. This operation to make silent my repeater? If I want "speaking" repeater, I can leave local speker jumper as is?
If you want to use DPL or CTCSS you will need to use shorting plugs or Gnd. the remote hook switch on the microphone.
2. If I build unidirectional repeater with PL on RX and TX, I must done described above operation only on one radio or on both? If on one, on which? On receiver or on transmitter?

3. To done grounding of HOOK SW (to enable PL/DPL) I can use only pin #3 of mic connector or I can choose between mic pin #3 and pin #14 of accessory connector? These pins marked similar! I can use any?
