Programming GP280 - 220mhz

Post by kb8zgl »

Everyone,
I recently got from Ebay (As I see others on here have) what seems to be a GP280 model # is: AZP03YPC20C5AA

I can read it just fine with the Asian RSS, but I can not get it to program in the ham band. Specifically 224.760 RX.. It keeps saying valid range is 216.0 to 223.0. I have modified the MDF file based on the info at batlabs and other links it points to. However, after the hexedits I still can not program the radio same error.

I tried using the shift key while putting in the freqs. to no-avail.

I really need this radio to work this week. I know people have not gotten the DTMF to work on it and I will work on that, but first I have to figure out why I can not program it with my HexEdited RSS.

If anyone has a .mdf that works with this GP280 RSS I would love to try it.
