MTS2000 FPP?

Post by High_order1 »

.....Like the title says. I am upgrading my current portable, and want it to be Jedi accessory friendly.

I'm not sure I want to make the jump to the 3000. If it's possible to get the MTS flashed for non-dongle FPP, I think I'll just get one of those.

Thoughts?

Thanks,

The MTS won't do FPP, only the JT series will in the classic Jedi body.

You might consider an HT1550XLS or FPP flashed XTS5000 but the HT will leave you stuck with the jedi accessories and the XTS is big time $$.

the 3000 can be flashed for Q52 FPP, right?

Are there any reasons to avoid the 3000? I just really need it for conventional use....

Negative. The only FPP capable radios are:
GP68
GP2000
JT1000
XTS5000 w/Q52 or Q53
XTS2500 w/Q52 or Q53
HT1550XLS

The XTS3000 will *not* support FPP.
