Spectra A9 display

Post by toyradios »

I have a mid-pwr UHF spectra configured for an "Enhanced" control head (A9).

The control head displays "MODE 1" when powered up, even though I programmed a name for each channel.

It reads/write just fine, just can't get the control head to display with the proper channel name, any ideas?

Thanks
Bill

Did you assign the modes to a zone?

Enhanced is for a5/7 head that is the new control head board. The A9 should be set at S9000E.

Under F2 - Radio Options, the control head type needs to read "S900E" if you're using a System 9000 head. Otherwise, the RSS won't talk to the control head (the mode/channel names are stored in the control head itself on an A/B/C/E9 Spectra).
